Hennes & Mauritz trying to stop use of H&M’s trademark by the Russian firmHennes & Mauritz have instigated proceedings against a Russian firm, H&M International, which has registered the trademark H&M in Russia.According to Swedish business magazine “Näringsliv24”, Hennes & Mauritz first tried to stop use of H&M’s trademark by the Russian firm in autumn last year. Spokesperson Annacarin Björne has explained that H&M are aware that a Russian firm have registered H&M’s trademark and that they have tried to prevent this through contact with the Russian authorities and attornies.
